Jessica, 21, Sydney.

Jessica is a third year Journalism/International Studies student at the University of Technology, Sydney. She takes photos mostly just for fun and does not for a second claim to be any good at it. Most of the time, Jess thinks about food, her hazy job prospects in the media industry and deciding whether she should hit the gym or take a nap.

Jess is also open to the prospect of collaborations/writing for you/taking photos for you/friendly conversation!

Dream Chasers.

Lately, the idea of chasing your dreams has been really prominent in the last few days for me. I was talking to a classmate of mine and she was telling me how she would do absolutely anything to get the job she wanted (film directing). And she almost got physical too, she was saying she'd actually go off and kill someone if it came down to it (something about strangling). It scared me, and impressed me at the same time.

I know I'm still really, really noob at photography; I'm still only at the Appreciation stage, really. I can barely use manual and don't dare to attempt to learn it now, what with my HSC approaching so quickly I can barely find time to pee. (That's a lie, I just hold it off cause I'm lazy) I've been so used to cruising, doing badly.. Staying on the floor, watching my friends rise.

There's nothing left to say anymore.. I know what I need to do. Here are some drawings my friend did for a FootLocker drawing competition he happened to come across. For me, it represents seizing opportunities, actively looking for them and doing anything to make that dream yours.
