These shots were taken at my friend Qin's house, where we'd arranged for Belle to do our makeup before heading off to another friend's party.

Does anyone else agree that Qin looks a bit like 2NE1's Dara in some of the shots!?

And now, back to studying! :) Hope you guys have a wonderful week! ♥

Sydney's King's Cross is interesting. I do love that it's so incredibly lively and passionate, even if dirty and littered with garbage and bouncers and men promoting strip clubs (one actually touched me what isn't that illegal or something) and the night life atmosphere is great. But I think I shall never linger there without a friend I could trust, and, quite frankly, could protect me if Something Happened. (I am quite cautious by nature, actually.)

A small group of boys from high school and I went to support my close friend Romy a few weeks ago because he had a DJing gig at O Nightclub, and I'm so proud to say that everyone flowed right to the dance floor when his set came on! ♥

I need to shower and sleep. I haven't read tomorrow's readings! :$ Aiyah. See you g units later! ♥

ROMY'S FACEBOOK PAGE
Not even going to bother to try and convince you to click it. Let's just say that I never listen to house music, but somehow I find myself replaying his tracks over and over and over and over and over again. It is that good. Just click it, please! You won't regret it I GUARANTEE you.

the piano man

There are other photos that need to be uploaded, but I am so excited and happy with this set that I couldn't wait. There is something about my moments with Lindsay that makes me feel like the colours of the world are somehow hyper-saturated; and yet they are also so comfortably and perfectly captured in black and white.

I should never like to lose his friendship. This afternoon, I rushed out of my shower to take him to my apartment, where he spotted my piano and we had a mini jam session (me playing the same chord over and over again, and him playing around it). It was delightful. We were perfectly in sync.

Thankyou, Lindsay, for being in my life. He takes me to another dimension of this world - one that has jazz music, freestyle piano playing, people I hear of but don't see anymore and stories I could listen to all day.

This post is shamefully late. I have been struggling to produce pretty images with photos shot in low light, and I'm a little disappointed and embarrassed by this set of photos, especially as a few days ago I proclaimed my tenative intentions invest myself in professional photography. Aiyah.

Anyway, on the last day of last month - on 中秋节, Mid-Autumn Festival - my family was invited to my mother's family friend's daughter's wedding, and it was beautiful. I knew no one else there (I fully expected to be seated with a table of old [sorry] people and I was right), so that left me quite free to run around and take a billion photos. That night I was literally the strange lonely girl no one knew with a camera taking photos of absolutely everything.

My mother, and her trademark scrunchie haha ♥ Blurry photo of me! Amateur Mama Yunz Photography a chef selection of gourmet cured meats, cheese, marinated and char-grilled mediterranean vegetables from signorelli gastronomia 'photographing the photographer' I was the only one clueless enough to turn up in a white dress and a leather jacket linguine pescatore - prawns, octopus, calamari, garlic, black mussels, basil, white wine

And if I get to it one day, a part two should be coming along :)

Have a lovely week, my darlings! I have another outing tomorrow (following friends around their uni and then heading to a high school dinner) and I'm excited excited excited for life!
