Jessica, 21, Sydney.

Jessica is a third year Journalism/International Studies student at the University of Technology, Sydney. She takes photos mostly just for fun and does not for a second claim to be any good at it. Most of the time, Jess thinks about food, her hazy job prospects in the media industry and deciding whether she should hit the gym or take a nap.

Jess is also open to the prospect of collaborations/writing for you/taking photos for you/friendly conversation!
Email her at mailtojessicayun@gmail.com. She will endeavour to get back to you almost instantaneously, because no one ever emails her. x

If you look back further enough, I used to use this blog as a sort of inspiration board too. I suppose tumblr is more appropriate for these sort of things, but I hardly use mine anymore.

Here are some gorgeous images by miki takahashi that have inspired me to explore Photoshop further than simply post-processing :)

"Two sides of personality"

"Smoke"

"inside"
(this set is my favourite)

The next aren't from miki takahashi, but they look like they employ more or less the same multiple exposure concepts

Freedom is a week and a day away, but it feels simultaneously longer and sooner than that. Here are some photos that I edited over the last few weeks almost as though it were my special brand of mindless fidgeting.

random shots at a sleepover some of Octo had at Star City last year

(we're neat people)

Din Tai Fung at The Star :) Overpriced, of course, but still yummy!

more from my trip to China in January

Eight months and about six kilos ago. It should be eight, but I've no willpower

The reason for their expressions was because they were all in the middle of protesting at the lenses of my DSLR being aimed at them. Goodness, China's military runs a tight ship don't they?

A few re-edited shots of the excursion to MOS that I documented here

Forever glad I discovered Actions and Curves. Old photoshopping:
